Started NMSN to give north Mississippi athletes the kind of coverage bigger markets take for granted. Produces the broadcasts and writes the recaps — and leans on the coaches, schools, and fans who make every game night possible.
Chairs the NMSN board and drives the network's promotion and partnerships — the relationships with schools, sponsors, and communities that keep NMSN growing. The voice on the phone before game night and the handshake in the parking lot after.
NMSN is volunteer-powered right now — but as the network grows, every role below except internships becomes a paying position. If Friday nights are your favorite night of the week, we want to hear from you.
In charge of overseeing a pregame studio show or a postgame show — the rundown, the segments, the clock.
Knowledge of PTZ cameras and vMix software is a huge plus.
People who know the game of football and are comfortable stepping into roles like sideline reporter, studio host for pre- and post-game shows, and interview situations with coaches.
Individuals with some experience shooting live action with a tripod-mounted video camera.
People with their own photo equipment who can shoot action photos at football games and the other sporting events we cover.
An outside sales background — or the willingness to walk into area businesses and professionally present our sponsorship opportunities.
Students who want to learn all aspects of live sports production and marketing, gaining real experience through a season with our company.
