Top five eligible North Half teams in each of 7 classifications, plus an overall North Half Top 10.

MHSAA Regions 1–2 in 5A, 6A and 7A; Regions 1–4 in the remaining classifications. Eligibility follows this sport’s alignment, not school location alone.
Each edition will show team records, movement from the previous edition, the results cutoff and the reasoning behind each selection.
How we rank baseball
Season results, opponent strength and quality wins lead the evaluation. Series results and head-to-head meetings help separate comparable teams.
The last five games inform recent form. Runs beyond a five-run margin add no ranking credit; shortened games and tournament formats are considered in context.
Only verified current-season results count toward the current edition. A previous spring’s finish does not become a new-season ranking.
These are editorial rankings. Broadcast coverage, sponsorships, fan voting and program reputation do not earn ranking credit. The overall list keeps teams from the same class in the same order as their class list.
