Community rules

NMSN school networks are fan communities, not official school communications. We welcome thoughtful discussion of teams, coaches, events, and school sports.

  1. The first-25 free school memberships are for active fans. A signed-in visit to that school’s feed, a post, or a reply resets its activity timer. We flag and email a warning after 30 inactive days. After 60 inactive days, free members-only access ends; you receive at least 30 days after a successfully sent warning to return. Your profile and posts remain. Once free access is revoked for inactivity, you must purchase membership to regain members-only access and cannot claim another free membership. Paid memberships are not canceled by this policy.
  2. Discuss teams, coaching decisions, games, and school sports respectfully. Critique decisions without attacking people.
  3. No harassment, threats, slurs, bullying, or sexual content. Students deserve particular care; never target or shame a student.
  4. Do not share personal information, contact details, private messages, or a student's location or sensitive information.
  5. No rumors or unverified accusations about students, coaches, or staff. Report safety concerns to the appropriate school or authorities, rather than posting allegations here.
  6. No spam or impersonation. Use Report for concerns; moderators may remove content, lock discussions, or suspend accounts.
  7. Public posts and replies can appear in search engines. Members only posts stay in the subscriber community. Do not copy private discussions into public posts.

Use the report control on a post or reply to send a concern to moderators. Reports are visible only to moderators. Moderators can review reported content, including members only discussions, to enforce these rules.
