NEW HOPE — Emarian Fisher gave the Trojans points from their defense Friday night, then came back with another takeaway in the fourth quarter.
The New Hope defensive back is the NMSN Player of the Week, presented by Impact Health Clinics, for the week of October 19–25. Fisher intercepted two passes in the Trojans’ 35–28 victory over Pontotoc on October 23.
His first interception became a third-quarter touchdown. Wearing No. 15, Fisher took the return into the end zone, turning a Pontotoc possession into six points for New Hope.
Fisher added his second interception in the fourth quarter. In a game the Trojans won by seven, his night included both a defensive score and another stopped possession.
NMSN’s Player of the Week video brings both plays together with the original Game of the Week calls. Watch Fisher’s Player of the Week highlights, or revisit the New Hope–Pontotoc broadcast.
